NEET-UG 2023 Counselling: Choice filling:
Once the registration process is completed, candidates are required to log into their registered accounts on the MCC portal to enter their preferred choices. They must choose their desired course/college in the order of preference. The candidates have the flexibility to select any number of choices from the provided list and can add or remove choices as needed. Additionally, they have the option to rearrange their choices by moving them up or down based on their personal preference. Once the choices have been entered, candidates need to save a copy of their selections for future reference.
Upon completing the selection process, candidates are required to lock their choices. It is crucial to lock the choices within the given period of time to obtain a printout of the submitted selections. A notice released by the MCC emphasizes the importance of not waiting until the last minute to both register and lock choices, as well as to take a printout. Candidates are advised to thoroughly review their selections, as once the choices are locked, they cannot be modified, even if an error has been made. Failure to carefully review and lock choices may result in the allocation of a seat that was not desired. It is important to note that once choices are locked, they cannot be unlocked, even by the MCC.
NEET-UG 2023 Seat Allotment Result:
MCC will publish the seat allotment results for candidates who have submitted their choices. The initial release will be a provisional result, and candidates will have the opportunity to submit objections if they have any concerns, then the final seat allotment list will be published. Based on their NEET UG seat allotment, candidates will have two options. They can either accept the allotted seat and proceed to the institute reporting round, or they may choose to go for seat upgradation if it is available. They will need to complete the registration process to participate in the next rounds of counselling.
Reporting to the allotted colleges:
Once candidates are allocated seats during the NEET counselling process, they are required to report to the designated institutes for document verification and seat confirmation. If a candidate accepts the allocated seat but fails to report to the assigned institute within the specified timeframe, their candidature will be cancelled.

Best thing about Vivek Gupta Sir is his selfless counselling. As I am already a BSC/ MSC, he suggested me to go to Philippines as I was able to get straight admission into MD and this finishes my entire course in 4 years flat. In any other country, it would have taken by 5.5-6 years. Ms Kanimojhi in Chennai office of GKWorks was equally supportive in coordination regarding documents, departure and all other formalities.
We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult. Thanks to Amit Pandey Sir, who is Gkworks Varanasi incharge, he helped us to do all small things. Going with us to get forex to helping us doing RTGS for fee payment, he was always there with us. He only helped us to apply for passport online and went with us to passport office Varanasi. Such support at ground level was provided by GKworks team both in Varanasi and Delhi.
My parents were not very comfortable to send me abroad especially my mother as I am the only son of my parents. I really wanted to become a doctor and thus approached Hemant Mishra Sir, director of Bareilly branch of GKWorks. He went out of his way to convince my mother. He would have come 5 times to my home, invited us to his office and home 10 times before my mother was finally convinced. It is only due to Hemant Sir in Bareilly that I am pursuing my course today. I wish GKworks and especially Bareilly branch all the very best to help many more students for their life dreams.
