The online study of international students by August 2022 now will be contributed for Canada PGWP.

 

The time duration of finishing the online studies, to get eligible to have a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) for international students has been increased.

 

The complete 100% of online studies from March 2020 to August 31, 2022 can be contributed to the Post Graduate Work Permit, reported by  IRCC(Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada).

 

Due to the pandemic crisis,the international students were devoid of traveling to Canada for completing their studies. For the sake of international students, these measures were provisionally formulated in February 2021, which expired on December 31, 2021.

 

From a known Designated Learning Institute (DLI) if a student completes his or her studies even abroad is now eligible to work in Canada.

 

The measures are applicable to the international students who are designated in the PGWP eligible program and fulfill  all required PGWP measures.

 

For qualifying the PGWP criteria, the international students are required to meet the below mentioned demands-

 

  • In a PGWP-eligible program , the international student seeking work in Canada must be enrolled.
  • The student whose program either have progressed in March 2020 or will be going to start a program in any of his semester that comes amidst spring 2020 to fall 2021
  • The students must have a study permit  or have applied for the same before starting their program.
  • The students must also fulfill other measures of PGWP.

 

 Validity of Post Graduation Work-

 

The legitimacy of PGWP depends upon the study tenure of the student. Eight month of study tenure is required to meet the eligibility criteria.

 

  • For the Length of 8 months to 2 years of study, the same duration of PGWP will be applicable.
  • For the Length of 2 years or more of study, 3 years of duration of PGWP will be applicable.
  • For More than one program the total accumulative length of the study program will be applicable.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
