Tamil Nadu revised NEET counselling schedule
With NEET 2021 coming to an end with seating and allotments by most other states, the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education (DME) announced that there will be a re-schedule in the counselling sessions of NEET UG 2021. This is most likely to have been announced after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), made an extension to the first-round allotment results.
According to the new schedule, the payment portal for application fee along with required registration will be available till 1 February 2022. This will give candidates who missed their chances to register. This is followed by letting the candidates choose their options and lock their choices upto 5 February 2022. Candidates can also modify and edit options till the deadline is over.
The results will bring to notice the shortlisted candidates, which will be released on February 7. This should be followed by the verification of credentials of all qualified candidates. The certification procedure will take place from February 8 to February 10 and keeping this in view, the result is likely to be released on February 15, 2022. After the results round is over, the chosen candidates can download their allotments from the provisional sheet from the official website i.e., tnmedicalselection.net till February 16, after which, the reporting process will take over. Under this process, candidates should report to their allotted colleges and universities to fulfill the desired formalities. The dates that have been scheduled for this are February 17 to February 22.
Candidates should remember that once they lock choices and the deadline is over, no more changes can be made. It is also notable to mention that absentees who are not present at the time of online counselling will not be given another chance. Their admission also stands invalid. However, a valid reason can be provided to the selection committee and their decision will be made final. The candidate should strictly adhere to instructions made by the committee and claim the college that is allotted by the committee without any games. Any fraudulent activities will lead to large scale compensation imposed by the DME.

Best thing about Vivek Gupta Sir is his selfless counselling. As I am already a BSC/ MSC, he suggested me to go to Philippines as I was able to get straight admission into MD and this finishes my entire course in 4 years flat. In any other country, it would have taken by 5.5-6 years. Ms Kanimojhi in Chennai office of GKWorks was equally supportive in coordination regarding documents, departure and all other formalities.
We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult. Thanks to Amit Pandey Sir, who is Gkworks Varanasi incharge, he helped us to do all small things. Going with us to get forex to helping us doing RTGS for fee payment, he was always there with us. He only helped us to apply for passport online and went with us to passport office Varanasi. Such support at ground level was provided by GKworks team both in Varanasi and Delhi.
My parents were not very comfortable to send me abroad especially my mother as I am the only son of my parents. I really wanted to become a doctor and thus approached Hemant Mishra Sir, director of Bareilly branch of GKWorks. He went out of his way to convince my mother. He would have come 5 times to my home, invited us to his office and home 10 times before my mother was finally convinced. It is only due to Hemant Sir in Bareilly that I am pursuing my course today. I wish GKworks and especially Bareilly branch all the very best to help many more students for their life dreams.
