Introduction

Curtin University is ranked in the top one per cent of universities worldwide in the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2018. In addition, Curtin climbed 30 places to a rank of 272nd in the world and remains 9th in Australia in the 2017-2018 University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP). The University is also positioned at 316th in the world and 9th in Australia in the 2018 CWTS Leiden Ranking. With the third largest international student population of any Australian university, Curtin was ranked 26th in the Times Higher Education’s list of the top 200 most international universities 2016. In the 2017 Times Higher Education Asia-Pacific University Rankings, Curtin ranks 69th out of 243 institutions and is placed 25th in Australia. Curtin is widely recognised for research that solves real-world challenges. In the Federal Government’s Excellence in Research Australia evaluation, Curtin was rated above, or well above, the world standard for 26 different areas of research.

Curtin University gives you a truly global education. Based in Perth, Western Australia, Curtin University has additional campuses in Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai and Mauritius, alongside partnerships with institutions in 20 countries.
Curtin’s main campus in Perth is the flagship site of the largest and most multicultural university in Western Australia. Located in Bentley, just six kilometres from the centre of Perth.
Curtin University also has two campuses located directly in the Perth CBD, the Graduate School of Business Campus and the Curtin Law School Campus.
