No Resignation after 2nd phase NEET PG
MCC has said in a latest notification that no quitting is permitted once an individual has been accepted into 2nd phase of NEET and NEET Postgraduate Counseling for this session’s medical enrollment.
All applicants and universities engaging in Undergraduate/Postgraduate Counseling 2021-22 should be aware that no resignations will be allowed in/after the 2nd phase of counseling.
The MCC has received multiple petitions from applicants seeking to renounce their places from respective designated colleges/institutions in the second phase.
The following is the schedule that MCC announced on its official webportal for the withdrawal of the round spots as well as on the mcc gateway:
Undergraduate Program: 4:00 PM , Feb 15, 2022
Postgraduate Program : 4:00 P.M ,Feb 3, 2022
Furthermore, as stated in the cases of Dar-u-slam Educational Trust & ors. vs. MCI & ors. and Snigda Leo vs. MCC & ORS (W.P. num. 820 of 2021), no withdrawal is permitted once a nominee has taken part in the 2nd phase of MCC Counseling.
The MCC notification warned institutions not to take resignations offline because “empty seats granted via offline resignation would not be considered in later phases of Counselling.”

On 26th Feb, the 2nd phase NEET Undergraduate counselling outcomes will be released.
The MCC has introduced Fifteen Lakhimpur Medical College MBBS spots to the 2nd phase seating pattern.A number of 11,441 spots, comprising 2375 BDS, 8692 MBBS, and 374 BSc Nursing spots, are unoccupied in 2nd phase NEET counseling, which is being held by the MCC underneath the Directorate general of health services for this session’s UG admittance. In contrast, there are 4464 virtual vacancies for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing spots.
