NMC Decision to give 300 MBBS seats to Jharkhand Medical Colleges still pending?
Medinirai Medical College of Daltonganj, Phulo Jhano Medical College of Dumka, Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College of Hazaribagh are the three medical colleges in the state which got permission for one year in 2021 , but for the current 2022 year the NMC has not yet taken any decision on this .
Each of these colleges got 100 seat for MBBS , although the NEET UG 2022 counseling is going to start in coming 2 weeks but there is no step taken by the NMC till now about the temporary seats for MBBS in these colleges, the decision is still pending from the NMC side.
As per a senior official of state health department medical education wing the NMC has not made any announcement related to the three state colleges regarding MBBS seats but the state is hoping for a good news this time also and is eagerly waiting for the decision by the NMC.
All the NMC gave these three institutions permission for year 2021 but , in the year 2020 NMC had to take off all the permission of admission of MBBS due to lack of good conditions.
The principal of the college said that there college is absolutely ready for any kind of inspection by the NMC .
Also, the Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH) Dhanbad could not meet the target set by the NMC to gain 50 seats in MBBS for their college for many years , but the principal is hoping to regain these seats this time and according to him , the NMC did not come for the inspection this year ,and they had worked a lot on the college and fulfilled the needs for the college, so hoping to get back their seats this times.
There is a ironical case , four-year-old Hazaribagh, Palamu and Dumka medical colleges got permission by the NMC for 100 seats but the college SNMMCH (old PMCH) 50 year old with all good facilities and good condition was given only 50 seats.

Best thing about Vivek Gupta Sir is his selfless counselling. As I am already a BSC/ MSC, he suggested me to go to Philippines as I was able to get straight admission into MD and this finishes my entire course in 4 years flat. In any other country, it would have taken by 5.5-6 years. Ms Kanimojhi in Chennai office of GKWorks was equally supportive in coordination regarding documents, departure and all other formalities.
We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult. Thanks to Amit Pandey Sir, who is Gkworks Varanasi incharge, he helped us to do all small things. Going with us to get forex to helping us doing RTGS for fee payment, he was always there with us. He only helped us to apply for passport online and went with us to passport office Varanasi. Such support at ground level was provided by GKworks team both in Varanasi and Delhi.
My parents were not very comfortable to send me abroad especially my mother as I am the only son of my parents. I really wanted to become a doctor and thus approached Hemant Mishra Sir, director of Bareilly branch of GKWorks. He went out of his way to convince my mother. He would have come 5 times to my home, invited us to his office and home 10 times before my mother was finally convinced. It is only due to Hemant Sir in Bareilly that I am pursuing my course today. I wish GKworks and especially Bareilly branch all the very best to help many more students for their life dreams.
