NIFT Counselling: Check NIFT Exam Counseling Dates and Process
In the First week of July the NIFT counselling 2021 for B Des, BF Tech, M Des, MFM and MF Tech courses is going to be commence. The National Institute of Fashion Technology will be the first one to register students for NIFT 2021. The students who are been shortlisted on the basis of the exam result can now register themselves on the official site of NIFT. A NIFT counselling round will be held and students will have to participate themselves in it for confirming their seats for admission in colleges who accept NIFT scores. Plus, students have to participate in the counselling session on the basis of the NIFT score and on the basis of the category they fall in for admission.
NIFT have a record of conducting many counselling sessions for the admission process in around 17 NIFT campuses. “The NIFT Head Office will be keeping an eye on the admission process all around the campus of NIFT”, says the official site of NIFT.
Due to the pandemic, last year’s counselling sessions were conducted online and even this year it has to be conducted through online medium.
The NIFT result was out on 27th May for BF Tech and 2nd June for M Des, MFM and MF Tech and 10th June for B Des, soon the cut-off list will also be released.
On 14th Feb,2021 the NIFT entrance exam was conducted for all the courses, which are Bachelor of Design (B Des), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BF Tech), Master of Design (M Des), Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and Master of Fashion Technology (MF Tech). In 2019 the students who wanted to get admission in the NIFT have to go through other rounds like Group discussions, interview or a situation test, according to the course they choose for themselves. But, Covid situation changes the process for most of the courses. The Situation Test conducted by NIFT were cancelled for B Des 2021 and 2020 and the Group discussion/personal interview was changed for all the master level programmes and was converted into online interview and portfolio submission.

The Counselling Process for NIFT 2021:
Follow the given steps for successfully getting into NIFT counselling session-
After the registration of the student in NIFT the website will generate and send a letter to you containing necessary details of the Nodal Officer, with a list of documents required from NIFT admission and counselling. Make sure that the document required for the counselling session is not in any other than English/Hindi and are original, if the student will fail to show this, he/she may not be able to go ahead in the process.
Login on the website after this and upload the documents.
If the seat is offered to a student for the NIFT admission at any NIFT campuses, then they have to pay the required fee via online medium, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI or Wallet.
Their will be a verification process to verify the fee paid and the uploaded documents are done, after this the student will get a Zoom Link for a meeting which will consists of date of counselling and further instructions.
After this the student have to appear on the Zoom meeting, schedule by the NIFT. Upon the arrival of advising the NIFT guiding authority will show the seating chart to the students according to his/her decision utilizing Screen Sharing component of Zoom Meeting. When a student will confirm his/her decision for NIFT admission, the authority will designate (according to his/her CMR/demand) that seat for applicant and send further to NIFT HO for endorsement.
After all the steps are completed, the student will receive a allotment letter which will be signed by the Nodal Officer of the NIFT Campus. After this the student will not be make any changes in its application.
Withdrawal of seat/ Refund of fee for NIFT 2021.
The application for withdrawal has to be submitted from online medium only, any application for withdrawal from e-mail or offline medium will not be accepted.

4.517 seats are offered by the NIFT admission in all courses which is offered in 17 campuses. Out of which 4,073 seats are for Indian nations.
The students who have submitted the application under the State Domicile category are offered 313 seats and 444 seats are on offer for admission to NRI/OCI/Foreign Nationals/ SAARC category students.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
