A new eApp has been launched to replace the Canadian Refugee Protection Portal (CRPP), although it’s been only an year when CRPP was launched and it is getting replaced so soon
This eApp was launched on 13th September due to the criticisms of the CRPP, which was launched last year on 6th October for the Immigrants, Refugee.
Many people claimed that the status of Refugee in Canada had become worst in the current scenario and many suffered through emotional conditions, psychological and physical condition.
Many barriers did not allow the Refugee to get work permit and also issues related to the settlement in Canada.
As per the former portal used, people were not allowed to use English as their first language and detention period was also for less than 24 hours.
There were so many technical glitches faced by the people and if the person had no technology knowledge then it was hardly compatible to work or use.
Many also claimed that they had not got access to their important credentials, public funding for legal representation, translation services, legal advice or other services. Lawyer were not allowed to use their credential to log in and had to use the individual e-mail and individual password for every single refugee.
These all reasons showed that CRPP did not work properly.
Now , people have so much of hopes from this new eApp , the officer are claiming that now people will be able to take legal advice and many services properly and also will be to tack their status.
As per the new eApp people have to submit their family members details in form of some documents who are not in Canada and for that they will be given 90 days to arrange all these documentations and if the documents will not be submitted on time then the application or claim will be automatically deleted after 90 days.
In the first 6 months in Canada almost 20,155 new residents through refugee resettlement programs settled in Canada and IRCC is expecting 40,310 refugees to get settled this year into Canada and due to pandemic last year no international flights and travel was allowed so IRCC has high expectations this year.

Best thing about Vivek Gupta Sir is his selfless counselling. As I am already a BSC/ MSC, he suggested me to go to Philippines as I was able to get straight admission into MD and this finishes my entire course in 4 years flat. In any other country, it would have taken by 5.5-6 years. Ms Kanimojhi in Chennai office of GKWorks was equally supportive in coordination regarding documents, departure and all other formalities.
We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult. Thanks to Amit Pandey Sir, who is Gkworks Varanasi incharge, he helped us to do all small things. Going with us to get forex to helping us doing RTGS for fee payment, he was always there with us. He only helped us to apply for passport online and went with us to passport office Varanasi. Such support at ground level was provided by GKworks team both in Varanasi and Delhi.
My parents were not very comfortable to send me abroad especially my mother as I am the only son of my parents. I really wanted to become a doctor and thus approached Hemant Mishra Sir, director of Bareilly branch of GKWorks. He went out of his way to convince my mother. He would have come 5 times to my home, invited us to his office and home 10 times before my mother was finally convinced. It is only due to Hemant Sir in Bareilly that I am pursuing my course today. I wish GKworks and especially Bareilly branch all the very best to help many more students for their life dreams.
