NEET UG Round 1 Counselling Result 2021
After the intense counselling sessions of NEET 2021, both online and offline, The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), announced the first-round counselling results on February 1. The results came out for the UG counselling sector. The results were uploaded on the official website of MCC. Candidates can check for the counselling results on http://mcc.nic.in.
These results will be followed by candidates receiving their seat allotments in the respective universities and colleges. These shortlisted candidates should now report to the universities to finish the necessary formalities carried on by them. This process is scheduled to take place between 2 and 7 February. The results came out as a result of merit scores and preferences on the basis of choices allotted by the candidates.
The results were to be released originally on January 27 but the MCC had postponed the date and pulled it down owing to a complicated case hearing at the High Court of Madras. Though the provisional results were released, MCC did not upload it on the planned date i.e, 29 January because of the same reason.
The other processed went as per the new schedule provided by the MCC. Candidates were permitted to register, both existing and fresh on 28 January. The choice-filling and locking procedures took place till 30 January, 2022. The MCC stuck to deadlines and made no more changes to the same. The other major announcements that MCC made was regarding the rounds of counselling. What was earlier two rounds had changed into four rounds to enhance the process. MCC however provides counselling for almost 16% of seats in the All-India Quota (AIQ0). It also restricts its counselling sessions to government medical colleges. The MCC is known for its top-class counselling for MBBS, Nursing and Dental admissions seats. Deemed universities and other co-related medical insitutions are also under the counselling of MCC. JIPMER also takes admission purely on basis of MCC counselling, without any direct admissions with the public.
Below is the way to download the results of the first round of counselling. Candidates should log on to the official website of MCC. Look for the download section for a tab stating ‘Round 1 Results’. Clicking on this link will redirect you to the results page where qualified candidates can find their respective allotment. The keyboard shortcut ‘Ctrl +F’ can be used to search on basis of NEET rank.
Candidates are hoping to receive their desired results. With MCC having a great throw at allotment-based procedures, it is definitely going to give medical aspirants and NEET 2021, the end relief that it deserves before kickstarting NEET 2022.

Best thing about Vivek Gupta Sir is his selfless counselling. As I am already a BSC/ MSC, he suggested me to go to Philippines as I was able to get straight admission into MD and this finishes my entire course in 4 years flat. In any other country, it would have taken by 5.5-6 years. Ms Kanimojhi in Chennai office of GKWorks was equally supportive in coordination regarding documents, departure and all other formalities.
We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult. Thanks to Amit Pandey Sir, who is Gkworks Varanasi incharge, he helped us to do all small things. Going with us to get forex to helping us doing RTGS for fee payment, he was always there with us. He only helped us to apply for passport online and went with us to passport office Varanasi. Such support at ground level was provided by GKworks team both in Varanasi and Delhi.
My parents were not very comfortable to send me abroad especially my mother as I am the only son of my parents. I really wanted to become a doctor and thus approached Hemant Mishra Sir, director of Bareilly branch of GKWorks. He went out of his way to convince my mother. He would have come 5 times to my home, invited us to his office and home 10 times before my mother was finally convinced. It is only due to Hemant Sir in Bareilly that I am pursuing my course today. I wish GKworks and especially Bareilly branch all the very best to help many more students for their life dreams.
