NEET UG Counselling 2021
The talks on NEET Counselling are never-ending. Every day, press releases and other official statements are hyping up the internet. The latest news that has come to understanding is that Round 1 of the registration process is doing the rounds of wrapping up and is set to close on the 24th of January.
MCC, which had announced their schedules earlier, has urged the students to seal the deal and confirm on their choices upto this date, keeping in mind the counselling process. Candidates who have been registered during this round are advised to stick to choices following which, the verification of credentials and other processes conducted by universities and institutes will initate by 25 and 26 of the same months. It is also to be noted that the seating process will further happen on 27 and 28 of January to complement the proceedings. The results of the same are most likely to be announced on January 29.
Regarding Round 2 of the Counselling program, the verification of important aspects and the seating arrangement will be confirmed by the institutes from February 7 to 8. This is to be followed by a payment procedure where one should register and make the desired payment. This is to begin on February 9 and is believed to be continued till February 14, till noontime. The payment facility will be accessible until 3 pm. Coming to the choice filling part of the process, it will commence on February 10 and it will go on the whole day upto 11:55 pm of February 14. Candidates will be allowed to lock their choices between 4:00 pm and 11:55 pm on February 14. After a one-day break, the verification of candidates by the universities and other institutes will happen from February 15 to February 16. The supplement of seat allotting will happen on the next day and will go on until February 18. Consequently, the results will be announced on February 19.
Steps to get your application processed is to log on to the website, click on the UG counselling button, click on the registration link, login and fill the empty form and pay the fees. Students are also requested to take a print out of the registration form for easier access to it. The documents that are required for this process are, NEET 2021 admit card, Aadhar card, Class 10 and Class 12-mark sheet, NEET marksheet and ID card, printed copy of the application form and the nationality certificate.
The MCC works on conducting UG and PG counselling for all India quota seats.
For MBBS and BDS seats, MCC counselling is set to happen as a four-round format This year, they brought about a change to their round system which was only 2 rounds till 2020. It is now upto these counselling systems to bring out all answers that candidates are looking for.
