NEET-UG 2023 Cut-off for All Category
The NEET-UG 2023 exam results were declared on June 13 on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in. 11,45,976 students have cleared the NEET-UG examination out of 20,38,596 candidates who appeared. A total of 56.21% of students have qualified the exam for admission to MBBS, BDS and other medical courses.
This year, there has been an increase in the NEET 2023 cut-off marks for general-category students. The NEET cut-off 2023 has risen from the range of 715-117 in NEET UG 2022 to 720-137 this year. Similarly, the cut-off marks for medical aspirants of reserved categories such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) has also increased this year from 116-93 last year to 136-107. The NEET MBBS/BDS cut-off for 2023 for general category candidates requires a rank within the top 50, while for OBC, SC, and ST categories, a rank within the top 40 is required.
The candidates who qualified the exam will be able to participate in the centralized counselling, which is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the 15% All India Quota seats and 85% state quota seats by respective state authorities.
Dates for NEET-UG All India Quota (AIQ) seat counselling will be announced soon. Medical Counselling Committee(MCC) and the Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) will soon announce an update regarding NEET-UG 2023 counselling dates. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Directorates of States will soon release the details and schedule of counselling on their official website.
This year two UG medical aspirants bagged the rank 1 in NEET-UG 2023 exam. Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakravarthi from Andhra Pradesh topped the NEET-UG exam by scoring 720 marks. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of qualifying students with 1.40 lakh candidates followed by Maharashtra with 1.30 lakh and Rajasthan with more than 1 lakh.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult. My parents were not very comfortable to send me abroad especially my mother as I am the only son of my parents.
