NEET UG 2022 counseling procedure to start very soon : check details
The NEET UG 2022 exam result was declared on 17th July 2022 and now the candidates who qualified the exam will be able to go ahead for the further counseling process. The NEET UG 2022 seats are divided into 15% for the All India Quota and 85% for the state level quota. For the All India seats the counseling is conducted by MCC and for the state level seats the state level organization are responsible.
The entire process of counseling is held in online mode itself and no need of visiting any college till the time college is being allotted. Till now there is no update about the NEET UG 2022 counseling and students are waiting for the schedule of counseling.
The state wise counseling process schedule will be published on the respective official websites. The counseling is based on the ranks secured by the students in the NEET UG 2022.
Points to remember for the counseling process-
Release of the merit list: The merit list is prepared and released by the NTA on the official websites and after it gets published students can check their merit number. After this step the students can go for the further registration process .
Choice filling: Only those students can take part in the registration process whose names were present in the merit list , and then students can fill up their choice form for getting perfect college for themselves . Both these process are done online .
Seat allotment: After the choice filing is the students have wait for the seat allotment dates and can then check if they have got their dream college or any college they wanted.
Reporting to the college: Soon after the seat is allotted to the students in college , they are given a time limit to either accept or to go for next round , students who accept the seat are required to report to the college allotted to them and do the needful. Rest students can go for the next round.
