NEET Counselling 2021 latest updates
NEET counselling will be organised by MCC on their official website- mcc.nic.in. The counselling will be conducted for filling 15 percent seats of state quota. For the rest of the 85% seats the counselling will be operated by the States counselling authorities.
The state quota counselling has begun for Assam, Punjab and Arunachal Pradesh regarding admissions in MBBS and BDS courses.
Aspirants are requested to keep an eye on the official websites. All the updates regarding the NEET, MBBS, BDS, AYUSH will be uploaded officially on these websites.

Plea for deleting a physics question was dismissed by the Supreme Court.
A plea was filed for deleting a physics question that came in the NEET exam. The Supreme court’s three membered panel dismissed the petition incriminating translation .According to them there was no other inaccuracy observed in the question.
Procedure for NEET counselling-
The candidates who have qualified the NEET entrance exam are eligible to participate in counselling procedure. The counseling is conducted for filling the seats of medical colleges for admitting the eligible students for MBBS, BSD, BMS courses. For this the NEET qualified students have to register themselves in the provisional website-mcc.nic.in. and do the choice filling. The selection of Studentswill be done by MCC on the basis of NEET scores and the choices they made in the counselling application.

For the counselling process the reservation policy of the central government is obeyed by AIIMS. The reservation is applicable to only those seats which are contributed by AIIMS to All India Quota.
For Scheduled Castes, SC- 15 per cent
For Scheduled Tribes, ST- 7.5 per cent
For Other Backward Classes, OBC- 27 per cent (non-creamy layer)
For Public work’s department, PwD- 5 percent horizontal reservation
For Economically Weaker Sections, EWS- 10 per cent.

Odisha state counselling is conducted byOdisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) board and was planned to begin on November 29. But got adjourned till the upcoming notice.

Karnataka NEET Counselling, WBMCC West Bengal NEET UG Counselling,Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling, Uttar Pradesh NEET Counselling,etc have been unleashed.
Clarification issued by NTA-
Admission seeking aspirants should stay aware of the forged brokers, and Allotment letters circulated by some people on behalf of the authority.
MCC clarified that, they do not circulate the Allotment letters individually to the candidates but they upload them officially on their provisional website.
