NEET Counseling 2021: details on Odisha NEET

 

After more than two months of delay in the NEET Admission process, now the MCC has started to complete the admission in a speedy manner, to manage the days went out. In this process, MCC has already started NEET Counseling process for AIQ seats, whereas many states have already went forward in counseling process of state quota seats. Among these states, Odisha has declared their counseling schedule, on which registration of UG NEET counseling has started now. 

Candidates can apply for Odisha NEET UG Counseling 2021 through official website of Odisha JEE, which is www.odishajee.com 

According to the schedule declared, the registration for Odisha NEET UG Counseling 2021 will be completed on 18th January 2022. The detailed schedule of Odisha NEET UG 2021 is like:

Registration for counseling  Starting date – 12th January 2022

Last date –  18th January 2022
Provisional merit list for MBBS/ BDS courses 24th January 2022
Corrections in provisional merit list, by Odisha JEE Cell 25th and 26th January 2022
Final merit list for Odisha NEET UG 2021 27th January 2022

 

In the place of Directorate of Medical Education and Training Bhubaneshwar, Odisha NEET UG Counseling will be conducted by Odisha JEE Cell. The counseling will be same as like all other NEET Counseling processes, which include three counseling rounds along with a mop-up round. 

Seats available for MBBS/ BDS in Odisha

According to the official data received from Government authorities, Odisha NEET UG Counseling 2021 offers admission for

85% state quota seats in all medical colleges/ institutions of the state, irrespective of Government or Private. This is common for both MBBS and BDS courses, in all the medical colleges/ institutions in the state. According to the official statements, the seats available in Odisha in State quota includes-

  • MBBS – 1950 seats
  • BDS – 363 seats
