Over the whole month of January 2022, NEET saw a roller coaster of procedures and formalities. With admissions almost set to begin, The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) closed the registration dates of round 1 on January 30. This news comes right after, the committee extended the dates for registration owing to a case hearing in Madras High Court. This should be followed by candidates applying for the final discussion on the official website i.e, mcc.nic.in in compliance with the application fee payment. After this the choice filling and confirmation process will follow.
The results for the seat allocation process after the first round will be announced on February 1. Once the results have arrived, candidates can begin their admission procedures with the respective colleges from February 2 to 7. MCC also announced that candidates who have already registered can login to the respective account and modify their choices. This editing feature will be accessible only by candidates who have already registered. The candidates who do not wish to modify options, their earlier chosen options will be considered for the placement round. Fresh registrations are allowed but they are subject to a requisite fee which is mandatory to be processed.
The MCC has been in talks for releasing results on January 27 and later removing it due the court case issue. But the results are now announced on their website. The steps to register at the NEET-UG Counselling are given below.
Candidates should login to the official website of MCC. An option stating ‘UG Counselling’ will be available. Tapping on that button will redirect you to the registration link. Applicants are required to fill in correct credentials and information in order to process. Once the registration is done, the page will take you to the Application form. Best thing about Vivek Gupta Sir is his selfless counselling. As I am already a BSC/ MSC, he suggested me to go to Philippines as I was able to get straight admission into MD and this finishes my entire course in 4 years flat. In any other country, it would have taken by 5.5-6 years. Ms Kanimojhi in Chennai office of GKWorks was equally supportive in coordination regarding documents, departure and all other formalities.
We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult. Thanks to Amit Pandey Sir, who is Gkworks Varanasi incharge, he helped us to do all small things. Going with us to get forex to helping us doing RTGS for fee payment, he was always there with us. He only helped us to apply for passport online and went with us to passport office Varanasi. Such support at ground level was provided by GKworks team both in Varanasi and Delhi.
My parents were not very comfortable to send me abroad especially my mother as I am the only son of my parents. I really wanted to become a doctor and thus approached Hemant Mishra Sir, director of Bareilly branch of GKWorks. He went out of his way to convince my mother. He would have come 5 times to my home, invited us to his office and home 10 times before my mother was finally convinced. It is only due to Hemant Sir in Bareilly that I am pursuing my course today. I wish GKworks and especially Bareilly branch all the very best to help many more students for their life dreams.
