New Delhi: The MCC, which is piece of the DGHS, has posted a notification asserting that applicants who are qualified to enroll in counselling according to NTA/NMC Guidelines for admittance to the Jawaharlal Institute of PG Medical Education & Research programme can enrol for the institution’s abode spots.
The panel asserted the administration of health & family welfare facilities, Puducherry, has supplied the roster of Puducherry/Yanam residency applicants in a statement published on Sat for JIPMER aspirants.
“Aspirants who meet the NTA/ NMC’s qualifying conditions for participation in counselling can seek Jipmer residency spots. If they match the qualifying conditions, such applicants can execute their options for AIQ and Jipmer domicile spots as per the timetable “the notification stated.
The board also included the entries of 14 Puducherry aspirants & 44 Yanam aspirants to Puducherry domicile roster, which were previously absent.

Citing a Madras HC ruling, the MCC revoked the MBBS/BDS admittance roster on Fri and prolonged phase 1 counselling by allowing new registration starting 8 p.m. on 28 Jan to midday on 30 Jan.
Dr. G Sriramulu, Head of Health and Family Welfare as well as Branch Officer NEET, had documented to JIPMER & MCC, DGHS, receiving help for fourteen NEET eligible individuals who had been turned down admissions for MBBS admittance in JIPMER.
The govt had asked the institution to let all pupils from Puducherry whose profiles haven’t been submitted by the govt to attend upon confirming their residency verification.
