MBBS is a shortened form for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. MBBS is a bachelor’s degree in the domain of medicine. This degree is a combination of 2 distinct fields, to be specific Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. But the curriculum of MBBS includes the combined course for both fields. For getting admission to MBBS, students are expected to qualify for a national-level entrance test. The National Testing Agency conducts an entrance exam called the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The level of NEET is one of the highest levels. Students are recommended to use several methods to crack the toughness of NEET. Previous year’s NEET cut-off can assist students in guessing the marks scored for getting a good institute. They can also modify their ways of studying. The cut-off list comprises the last rank at which admittance to a selective college and section is given. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is the authority responsible for conducting Telangana MBBS 2020 admission. KNRUHS will start online registrations for admission to Telangana MBBS in the third week of June 2020. The candidates who fulfil the eligibility conditions for Telangana NEET admission only will be able to register themselves for the same. The authorities will release provisional Telangana MBBS 2020 merit list in the fourth week of June following which candidates will have to report at the allotted venue for document verification. Medical aspirants who get their documents successfully verified for admissions will get themselves included in the final MBBS merit list of Telangana. Only these candidates will be allowed to participate in Telangana MBBS counselling 2020. Candidates must note that it is extremely essential for them to qualify NEET to be eligible for admission.

Domicile Rules to get 85% state quota seats for MBBS in Telangana:
What is a domicile rule?
Let us learn more about the domicile certificate. One can acquire the certificate from the local authorization, chiefly from the Tehsildar office or the revenue authority. The domicile certificate is demanded as confirmation of the permanent dwelling of a person in a specific region. In Telangana, the domicile certificate is given only to a person who is a permanent resident of the state. The certificate can be demanded during various procedures like admission in any institute, during the verification process of any government, for applying for, loan. The certificate can be obtained from the Revenue Department, District Collector office, Sub-divisional Magistrate, Tehsildar administration. One can get a hold of the certificate within few days from the application date. The number of years required before a person becomes eligible for the certificate is modified for several states. The appellant has to give a fee of Rs.10/- for an application form and a fee of 35 Rs. as a part of service charges and issuance of the certificate. Some documents that may be wanted when asking for the certificate include Adhar / Pan card, passport photo, address proof (such as utility bills), etc. For the online demand of the certificate, people can get help from the official website. This rule is applicable for 85% of the seats. While the rest of the 15% of seats are reserved for the non-native students of Telangana.
All the counseling processes including verification of seats in Telangana are conducted by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS). There are a total of 23 colleges in Telangana that offer MBBS courses. Among these 7 colleges are under the administration of government. A total of 1100 seats are offered by the government colleges. The remaining 16 medical colleges are under the control of private organizations. These colleges offer 2300 medical seats. After the results are declared, the committee publishes a merit list. Students who are enlisted on the list should download their call letters from the official website of the committee. The centralised counselling will be conducted by KNRUHS on the basis of state merit rank derived from NEET 2020 scores. Below given domicile conditions must be fulfilled by candidates if they wish to qualify for Telangana MBBS admission 2020 for 85% of state quota seats:
1. Local candidates – Aspirants who are local residents will be eligible for 85% state quota and 15% AIQ seats offered in the state.
a. Those candidates who have studied or resided in the local area for not less than four years in which their last year of stay must include passing class 12 examination.
b. In case a medical aspirant has studied in two or more local areas for a period of seven consecutive years where the last year includes passing class 12 examination. Then the authorities will consider that area in which the candidate has stayed for the longest for Telangana MBBS 2020 admission.
c. In such a case where the candidate stayed for equal duration out of the seven years in a particular area, then, the place where he stayed last will be considered
2. Non-local candidates – Among the reservation of seats, 15% percent are available as unreserved. On these seats both local and non-local candidates can take admission for Telangana MBBS through NEET. However, it is mandatory for candidates to have stayed in the state for a minimum duration of ten years. Other requirements for these seats are:
a. Firstly, candidates must fulfil the basic NEET eligibility criteria 2020 for admissions
b. It is mandatory for candidates to secure the minimum qualifying percentile as set by the authorities.
