The National Testing Agency is the liable authorization for the administration and managing different rounds of NEET. The multiplied duties of NTA aggregate the formulation of NEET question paper, the announcement of results, the release of the cut-off list as per different classes, supervising the methods of admission led out by the state authorizations, etc. According to the figures, in the years 2020 and 2019, around 13.66 lakh and 12.6 lakh students appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET). The figures were marked to be halved when it came to the figures of qualified students. In the year 2020, only 7.71 lakh students were capable of qualifying for the exam. In Andhra Pradesh, the counseling process was conducted for 30 colleges. The authority which carries out and administers the admission process in Andhra Pradesh is the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada. Candidates will be required to fill the AP MBBS application form 2020 to get admission in MBBS and BDS seats which are offered under Category of A, B and C. These candidates upon submission of the application form will be included in the AP MBBS merit list 2020. The enlisted candidates are required to get their documents verified after which a final merit list will be published. Only those candidates whose name appear on the final merit list will be invited to participate in AP MBBS counselling 2020. The counselling process for AP MBBS admission 2020 under competent authority as well as management quota seats will be organized by the authority.
As many as 5,210 seats offered in 31 medical colleges will be filled through counselling of AP MBBS counselling. AP MBBS 2020 admission will commence with the release of candidates who have qualified NEET.

State Domicile rules to get 85% state quota seats in Andhra Pradesh for MBBS
What is a domicile rule?
Let’s learn more about the criteria and documents required for the acquiring of domicile certificate. The certificate can be demanded from the local authorization (especially from the Tehsildar building) or the village regulatory authority. The domicile certificate is the certainty of a declaration of a person’s permanent residence. Every state has its own set of rules regarding the domicile rule and criteria. In Andhra Pradesh, the domicile certificate is given to a person who is a permanent resident of the state or who has been living in AP for more than 7-years. With the help of this certificate, students can take advantage of the schemes applied by the government. The application form the certificate can be applied by going to any MeeSeva center. One can get the approved certificate within a day or two. Applicate fees required for the processing of documents range from 15-30 rupees. Nonetheless, several states will assign certificates after a person has lived in the state for certain years (as decided by the government). Various forms of evidence may be required to fill out the confirmation form, including Adhar/Pan card, passport photo, confirmation address. The remaining 15% of the quota is kept for international students or students who attend through the quota management policy.
The responsible authority for directing the process of counseling is the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS). This university carries on every step from the declaration of merit list to the allocation of seats to students. In Andhra Pradesh, there are a total of 30 medical colleges. Among these 11, 19 colleges are run by the government and private authorities respectively.
Following the announcement of the NEET scores, applicants have to go finish a counseling process directed by the university. A separate application form is obliged to be filled by qualified applicants. The form filling required payment of fees. After the forms are filled, after some days students will have to download their call letter from the official website of the committee. Specific information regarding the place and time of the counseling process is mentioned in the call letter. Through the counseling process, some basic reports of the students are verified. Seats are allocated as per the scores of the students.
