State Domicile rules to get 85% state quota seats in Andhra Pradesh for MBBS

What is a domicile rule?

Let’s learn more about the criteria and documents required for the acquiring of domicile certificate. The certificate can be demanded from the local authorization (especially from the Tehsildar building) or the village regulatory authority. The domicile certificate is the certainty of a declaration of a person’s permanent residence. Every state has its own set of rules regarding the domicile rule and criteria. In Andhra Pradesh, the domicile certificate is given to a person who is a permanent resident of the state or who has been living in AP for more than 7-years. With the help of this certificate, students can take advantage of the schemes applied by the government. The application form the certificate can be applied by going to any MeeSeva center. One can get the approved certificate within a day or two. Applicate fees required for the processing of documents range from 15-30 rupees. Nonetheless, several states will assign certificates after a person has lived in the state for certain years (as decided by the government). Following the announcement of the NEET scores, applicants have to go finish a counseling process directed by the university. • Candidate or one of the candidate’s parents’ have lived in the state for at least ten years excluding the period where the aspirant has studied outside the state or the parents have resided outside Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidate whose either of the parents is an employee with the Central or State Government, Public Sector Corporation Universities, Local Bodies and other similar Public Institution within the state to be eligible for AP MBBS BDS admission 2020.
• The candidate whose spouse is in the employment of the State or Central Government Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies Universities and educational institutions recognized by the Government or a University or Other competent authority of the state.
