MBBS and BDS seats at ESIC
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released a recruitment notification from eligible candidates who have appeared for NEET 2022 for MBBS and BDS seats under the assured quota in medical education colleges managed by the ESIC in India. 437 MBBS and 28 BDS seats are assigned throughout India to employees ’ children who are reimbursed underneath the ESIC scheme, among which 112 MBBS and 28 BDS seats are in ESIC colleges in Karnataka.
Children of ESIC-covered people are eligible to enter under the quota.
As of March 31, 2022, employees covered by the ESIC plan can take advantage of the insured individual’s quota (IP quota) in professional seats for young children. Interested candidates can apply online on the ESIC webpage using the link given.
The application deadline is July 26 at 11:59 p.m.
The deadline for submitting a paper copy of the online application and the required documentation to the local ESIC branch office is July 27.

Tuition fees, preparation of merit lists.
Candidates would be assigned seats based on merit and cumulative preference under the ‘IP Quota.’ The merit list would’ve been generated based on the all-India ranking of eligible applicants in NEET 2022, in accordance with the Union Government’s reservation policy for the creation of classification inter-se merit lists. Centralized counseling will be used to assign seats to candidates.
Tuition expenses for MBBS will be $24,000 per year; students selected under the ‘IP Quota’ will not be required to pay a capitation fee.
Offspring of ESIC-insured individuals are entitled to 437 MBBS and 28 BDS seats (of which 112 are in ESIC colleges in Karnataka), stated S. Sivaramakrishnan, Director, in-charge, ESIC Mangaluru.
