Established in 1993, and later upgraded to autonomous Health Sciences University in 1998, BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences offers undergraduate, postgraduate and university certificate programs in it’s 4 colleges, Medical, Dental, Nursing, and Public Health with a 700-bed Teaching Hospital.
This public self governing university has over 120 MBBS and 60 BDS students per year and is one of the successful projects of Indo-Nepal cooperation.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR MBBS IN BP KOIRALA INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCES

Admission is based on a 200 marks entrance test help in July every year. The paper contains 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge 50 each. So GK becomes a deciding factor in final selection.

    We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
