Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is an important educational, scientific and cultural center of Georgia. It has a 80-year-long history. Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is a multi-functional educational and scientific institution where a unified space of academic and professional education and research is created with the cooperation of students, professors, teachers and researchers. A number of scientific-research projects of international and national significance have been accomplished on the university base.
The university has close partnership relations with the leading higher educational institutions within and outside the country. MBBS PROGRAM AT BATUMI SHOTA RUSTAVELI STATE UNIVERSITY

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University started Medical Doctor program equivalent to Indian MBBS in 2014. This innovative one-cycle program focuses on internationalization and integrated teaching approaches. The program offers courses in English and is open to international students. The educational program consists of 360 ECTS, with maximum 75 ECTS per annum.

LOCATION OF BATUMI SHOTA RUSTAVELI STATE UNIVERSITY:

Batumi City is situated right on Black sea. it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The University is right on the beach and students can walk to bech in less than 1 minute. There are no direct flights between any Indian airport to Batumi. The one stop flight are available but are very expensive. The best way to reach Batumi is to first go to Tbilisi and then use raod transport to reach Batumi city.

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR MBBS MD COURSE FOR INDIAN STUDENTS:

The MBBS MD admissions at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Tbilisi Georgia are very transparent. Based on your NEET score card, the university issues your admission offer through GKWorks representative. SALIENT FEATURES OF MBBS MD AT BATUMI SHOTA RUSTAVELI STATE UNIVERSITY

1. The entire MBBS course can be finished in 5 years thus saving one year for students
2. The  university is situated in Batumi, famous tourist spot right on Black sea. This enable students to live in a large city. Along with getting facilities and comfort, the exposure to large count of patients is also there
3. Great weather 12 months a year
4. Very large percentage of female students are there in MBBS course
5. Indian food is available for MBBS students
6. Separate girls hostel is provided for female MBBS students
7. The MBBS course is MCI recognised and WHO appproved

But,
The total fee to do MBBS at Batumi is on high side. The tuition fee alone is about 19 lakhs for entire course. Adding hostel and food, the entire MBBS course expenses would be around 28 lakhs minimum. So BSU is one of the most expensive options for MBBS course.
