Barind Medical College, in Bangladesh is a for-profit higher education institution for Medicine and Nursing, established in 2011. With an intake of over 450 students, of which about 87 are international students, shortlisted on the basis of a selective admission policy, with the eligibility decided by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), based on the cut off in the admission test conducted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and medical fitness.

The Barind Medical College, along with the hospital is situated in the Rajshahi city, the educational centre of Bangladesh, 252 km north west of Dhaka.

The Barind Medical College renders many programs like MBBS and other diploma programs like Nursing Sciences and Midwifery, with a course duration of 3 years.
The duration of MBBS course is 5 years, in four phase followed by a year of compulsory internship.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
