Kerala MBBS Admission 2023
The Admission for Kerala NEET 2023 is conducted by The Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Thiruvananthapuram. The Phase 1 Kerala NEET 2023 application is released on the official website. Aspirants can fill their Kerala MBBS BDS 2023 application form till April 10.
For Phase 2, the Kerala NEET MBBS BDS form will be released after the NEET 2023 results. Applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be taken into consideration for admission to Kerala MBBS 2023. The CEE will allocate seats for 85% of the state quota MBBS and BDS seats in government institutions, and in self-financing/private medical and dental colleges in Kerala, based on their NEET 2023 scores. This allocation will be done through a centralized counselling process conducted in three phases. During the counselling session, candidates will be required to fill in their preferred courses and colleges in order of priority.
The allocation of seats for MBBS and BDS courses in Kerala will be based on the choices made by applicants during the choice-filling session, their NEET scores, and seat availability. A total of 3,182 seats for MBBS courses and 2,077 seats for BDS courses in Kerala will be granted accordingly. Once seats are allotted, candidates must report to the allotted colleges to complete the admission process. Kerala MBBS BDS 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
Kerala MBBS BDS 2023 Application Form:
The application process for Kerala MBBS and BDS 2023 of phase 1 has started. Once the NEET UG results are announced, phase 2 of the application process will begin. The authority will release the Kerala MBBS merit list, which will assign a state rank to all candidates based on their NEET 2023 scores. Candidates who wish to seek admission to Kerala MBBS and BDS courses are required to fill out the application form online during phase 1. It is important to note that to successfully submit the application form, candidates must also pay the application fee through credit/debit cards, net banking, or E-challan.
Kerala MBBS BDS 2023 Merit List:
Once the registration process concludes, CEE publishes an online list of eligible candidates for the Kerala NEET counselling process. Candidates who have qualified for the NEET 2023 examination and successfully applied for Kerala MBBS/BDS admission by completing the application form will be included in the Kerala MBBS 2023 merit list. This merit list will assign a state rank to candidates based on their NEET UG scores.
In addition to the state rank, the Kerala MBBS 2023 merit list will also include details such as the candidate’s roll number, NEET score, NEET rank, and more. Along with the publication of the overall merit list, CEE will also release separate category-wise merit lists for PwD (Persons with Disabilities), NRI (Non-Resident Indian), and minority quota candidates.
Kerala MBBS BDS 2023 Counselling:
The Kerala NEET counselling for 2023 is conducted online through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP), which consists of three phases: the first phase, the second phase, and the mop-up round. During the counselling process, candidates will be allotted seats in various MBBS and BDS colleges based on their filled choices and preferences. Since the counselling process is conducted online, candidates will be required to submit web options to indicate their preferred choices for colleges and courses.
The result of the Kerala MBBS counselling will be announced online in the form of a seat allotment list. This list will contain the names of the candidates along with details such as the course and college allotted, the category of the seat, and the candidate’s category. Candidates whose names appear in the Kerala MBBS BDS seat allotment list must report to the allotted college within the specified time frame to complete the admission process.
Kerala MBBS NEET Cutoff 2023:
The NEET 2023 cutoff for Kerala will be announced after the completion of the Kerala MBBS counselling process. The Kerala MBBS NEET cutoff represents the closing rank and its corresponding score that is considered for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. The cutoff will be published online. The Kerala MBBS cutoff for 2023 will be released separately for the 15% All India Quota seats and the 85% State Quota seats. CEE will release the NEET cutoff for the state quota seats, while the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the cutoff for the All India Quota seats.
