JEE MAIN 2020 PREPARATION TIPS
Working hard, with full determination and sincerity, is the path through which one can achieve success. Now that the JEE MAIN admit card will be soon released, its high time for aspirants to start their final grinding study. For those who have taken the January exam and secured 97 percentiles, they must now work more on their speed and accuracy skills to improve their scores. Those scoring below should start analysing and rectifying their mistakes and strengthen their weak zones and may also take an online crash course.
METHODOLOGY
The way you approach questions, your attitude towards your preparation and your level of focus and determination will go a long way in determining your success in the exam. A student throughout their study time should remain focused, and must have a positive attitude towards his/her preparation.
TIME MANAGEMENT
One of the most important skills needed for any competitive exam is time management. Students should now divide their time equally to the three subjects- physics, chemistry and maths and create a proper subject and topic wise schedule for each. All the topics should be covered with speed and accuracy as all the three subjects are of equal importance in the exam.
GOAL FOCUS
Motivation and focusing on your goal comes next. You should know what you want, and how you want to achieve it. Set small targets to complete every day for the final preparation and make sure you complete those. This will boost up your confidence to study and prepare even better.
STUDY MATERIAL AND IMPORTANT TOPICS
During this final phase, one should not start with new books. This stage should be used to introspect, analyse, rectify and strengthen your weak areas to become an all rounder in the exam. Aspirants should sit for computer based mock tests to get a taste of how the exam will be conducted.
Class XI-XII syllabus should be revised alongside the following topics from the three subjects-
MATHEMATICS-
PHYSICS-
CHEMISTRY-
One should revise the periodic table from their NCERT books and practise all the previously done sums and questions once again for clarity.

Best thing about Vivek Gupta Sir is his selfless counselling. As I am already a BSC/ MSC, he suggested me to go to Philippines as I was able to get straight admission into MD and this finishes my entire course in 4 years flat. In any other country, it would have taken by 5.5-6 years. Ms Kanimojhi in Chennai office of GKWorks was equally supportive in coordination regarding documents, departure and all other formalities.
We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult. Thanks to Amit Pandey Sir, who is Gkworks Varanasi incharge, he helped us to do all small things. Going with us to get forex to helping us doing RTGS for fee payment, he was always there with us. He only helped us to apply for passport online and went with us to passport office Varanasi. Such support at ground level was provided by GKworks team both in Varanasi and Delhi.
My parents were not very comfortable to send me abroad especially my mother as I am the only son of my parents. I really wanted to become a doctor and thus approached Hemant Mishra Sir, director of Bareilly branch of GKWorks. He went out of his way to convince my mother. He would have come 5 times to my home, invited us to his office and home 10 times before my mother was finally convinced. It is only due to Hemant Sir in Bareilly that I am pursuing my course today. I wish GKworks and especially Bareilly branch all the very best to help many more students for their life dreams.
