IPMAT

The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) conducts a national level exam which is a gateway for the students who want to get into a 5-year Integrated Program in Management offered at IIM Indore and 4 other IIM’s. This test is called Intergraded Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT).

IMPAT 2021 is going to be conducted on 16^th July, 2021. Previously the test was on 14^th June. The registration process for IPMAT started on 23^rd March, 2021 and the last day for submission of the application was 31^st May, 2021.

IPMAT test 2021 will be in a online mode but it will be followed by an Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). After this also, there will be a last step for selection of the candidates, based on the Composite Score (CS) Which will be computed based on:

Eligibility criteria for IMPAT

• Applicants should have at least 60% marks in class 10^th and class 12^th or any equivalent exam in the case of General and NC-OBC category.
• Applicants should have at least 55% marks in class 10^th and class 12^th or any equivalent exam in the case of SC, ST or PWD (DA) category
• Applicants should have passed all the qualifying exam in the year 2019, 2020 or 2021
• The Upper age limit of the student must be 20 years by 31^st July, 2021.

State wise Eligibility:

For General and NC-OBC category:

• Applicants should have at least 60% marks in class 10th and class 12^th or should have a score of SAT about 1600 out of 2400.
• Applicants who are waiting for their 12^th result can also apply for this test.
• Applicants should not be more than 22 years in age by 31^st July, 2021.

For SC, ST or PWD (DA) category:

• Applicants should have at least 55% marks in class 10th and class 12^th or should have a score of SAT about 1475 of 2400.
• Applicants who are waiting for their 12th result can also apply for this test.
• Applicants should not be more than 22 years in age by 31st July, 2021.

Admission process for IMPAT

Here are the steps involved:

1. Fill the application form:

Register yourself for IMPAT. The application must submit before the decline. Please check the eligibility before applying in the exam.

The fee charge is Rs 4130 for the General class/NC-OBC and Rs 2065 for reserved category applicants. Applicants should take note of that the fee can be paid through online mode. Applicants can decide to pay the fee by-

• Credit card
• Debit Card
• Net Banking

2. Download IPMAT 2021 Admit card

Applicants who register effectively for the test will get the admit cards. Enrolled applicants can download their individual admit cards from the official site by entering their Registered ID and password.

3. Appear for IPMAT

The dates for IPMAT 2021 test is on July 16, 2021. IPMAT is going to be conducted in an online mode and the time for test is two hours. Applicants need to show up for the test where they will be evaluated on Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ).

4. Check IPMAT 2021 result

You can check your result online. The result is mostly announced within 10-15 days from the date of the test. Applicants need to enter their application form no, email ID or Date of Birth to get access to the result.

5. WAT-PI

Applicants who will pass the test will further be called for the WAT-PI process. Shortlisted applicants need to show up for an Essay writing round and are then met by a panelist of IIM Indore.

IPMAT Exam Centers 2021:

IPMAT 2021 will be conducted in overall 28 cities of India. Applicants can choose their near-by centres for the test.

Exam Day Guidelines:

Applicants are advised to reach their allotted exam centre for IPMAT 2021 at least an hour before the exam.

• Applicants who are new to the location must make sure that they check the exam centre a day before the exam to avoid confusion on the exam day.
• Applicants must carry their admit cards to the exam centre. Entry will not be allowed to candidates found without admit cards
