IIM Bangalore Admission Criteria 2021
IIM Bangalore has mailed those candidates who were shortlisted for the second round of selection process. IIM Bangalore has included the WAT component in the 2020 admission criteria. This was later revised due to the pandemic. Thus candidates have to take a look at the IIM Bangalore admission criteria 2021 before taking admission in IIM Bangalore. This was earlier released on October 1, 2020 in online mode on the official website. As stated by the IIM Bangalore 2021 Admission Criteria, ample of changes were included in the total weightage, overall scoring of CAT, calculation of aggregate scores and its related. The first step in being part of IIM Bangalore’s selection process is to clear the IIM entrance exam. IIM Bangalore secured the second rank on the NIRF MBA ranking 2020 this year. CAT is the national level entrance exam conducted by IIM Indore.

Stages of Admission Criteria 2021
IIM Bangalore was initiated in 1973 and is not a part of baby IIM. In recent time, IIM Bangalore was replaced by IIM Ahmedabad from the first position in the NIRF Top Government MBA Colleges. The admission criteria of IIM Bangalore 2021 is divided into two/three stages after the CAT 2020. The various stages based on previous year admissions is given below –

Stage 1 – Shortlisting of candidates for Written Ability Test and Personal Interview
This stage is all about shortlisting candidates based on their CAT 2020 cutoff. Those candidates who were shortlisted should appear in the Personal Interview round and they also additionally have to attend Written Ability Test as well. The time period for WAT is 30 minutes.

Stage 2 – Generation of Final Admission Offer List
A final list is prepared based on certain factors like WAT, PI, experience.
Basis of Evaluation:

Fee Structure For MBA
Candidates who are listed in the final merit list should make the payment for MBA program according to the fee structure of IIM Bangalore. The proposed IIM Bangalore fee structure is likely to be Rs. 23 lakhs for the academic year 2021-2023. Students who are unable to pay are offered financial aid and scholarships based on certain criteria.
