How to study medicine abroad?

With each passing year, get admitted into an Indian public university or one of the country’s prime colleges is getting harder. Many lose hope each year not knowing that there are multiple options. Although with internet accessible to a large part of the population, awareness-growth has also led to the masses going international with their education. Yet there are also still many who consider going abroad to either be taxing or intangible, and therefore, disregard the option altogether.

It is true that studying abroad, if researched and chosen carefully, can be affordable. Many nations offer high quality education at the same or lower price as India and have college recognized globally by WHO as well as by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Irrespective of the fact that the process of applying to an international course and student immigration is elaborate, the process in itself is hassle-free.

A few things to keep in mind –

  1. Students still need to clear NEET to be eligible for applying and joining colleges outside of India.
  2. Aspirants will have to take IELTS/TOEFL and produce an English language proficiency certificate.
  3. When coming back to India, they need to take the FMGE or the MCI Screening test for any further education or practising medicine.

Client Testimonial

MBBS Abroad is a big decision and your success depends upon the honesty of your consultant. It is a long process starting from choosing the right college to reaching there at college door step and finally studying there for next 5-6 years. You are in a new country without many old friends. We were sure to approach a consultant who is based out of our district only so that not only during admission but for next 6 years, we can have smooth interactions. So, we approached GKWorks as they have a branch in Saharanpur. As we anticipated, there are lot of things to be done during admission process that goes for 3-4 months. At every step, it was useful for us to have our consultant who was only 20 minutes’ drive from our home. We were able to discuss everything face to face any day and thus were able to have easy process.
