HOW TO CHECK NEET RESULTS

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2020), conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) is a national level entrance test organized for admission into MBBS and BDS courses offered by various government and private colleges of India.

NEET 2020 results are due on June 4 and can be availed online at ntaneet.nic.in.
The candidates, upon entering their roll number, date of birth and the security pin appearing on the screen will be able to download the results made available in the form of a scorecard and rank letter. There is no separate results declared.

The scorecard is a consolidated form including their subject wise percentile score obtained, total marks, NEET all India rank, category rank, etc. The results, valid through one year, decides one’s entry to all MBBS, BDS, AYUSH season colleges and medical institutes of India. It is on the basis of this NEET results, that merit list for eligible candidates are prepared and are they called for the counseling process.

The cut-off marks to qualify for NEET exam is 50% and 40% for General category and Reserved category respectively. The answer key is made available before the publication of the results which helps the students to have a rough idea on their scores.

The scorecard gives the details like Candidate’s Name. Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Category/Sub-Category, Nationality, Student’s Roll Number, Application Number, Total Marks Obtained, Marks Secured in Chemistry, Marks Secured in Biology, Marks Secured in Physics, Total Secured Percentile, NEET Category Rank, NEET All India Rank, Exam Qualifying Status (Qualified or Non-qualified), Cut-off Score for Counselling under 15% All India Quota, NEET All India Quota Rank (for 15% All India Quota), etc.

Checking Results:
1. From the address ntaneet.nic.in, open the official portal.
2. Now click on “Click Here” link.
3. The computer screen now displays the results page.
4. Enter the roll number and date of birth.
5. Now click on “Submit”.
6. The screen now displays the Results.
7. Print the copy for future references.
