GUJARAT NON-REPORTED CANDIDATES LIST

Reports from the DME state that nearly 1750 failed to report for round 2 counseling in Gujarat state. The students were from different courses including MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH. The ACPUGMEC, which is the primary body for conducting medical admissions gave out the statistics. A non-reported candidates list was released by the DME as a warning to the candidates.

While the online process for seating is purely on a merit basis, candidates can however give their preferences on the choice of university and course. If any institute wishes to add more seats than it already has, they are free to do so, only after the first set of seats gets filled.

Those candidates who have joined after round 1 and round 2 seating arrangements will not be permitted to give up their seats. In the case of a state quota, the participant cannot take part in round 2 or any other rounds if a choice is already chosen.

In the second round, it will be more of a preferential-based round where merit score will take the back seat. Seating will be purely based on the availability of seats in a particular institution. Those candidates who fail to confirm their allotments due to any reason will not be able to redeem their seats at any cost.

    We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
