Delhi University Joint Admission Test or DU JAT is a national level entrance exam which is mandatory to give for admission into BMS, BA Hons in Business Economics programs and BBA (Financial Investment Analysis). DU JAT is conducted by the National Testing Agency on an online medium. To fill the form for DU JAT candidates can do it online from the official site.

This exam is designed in such a manner that will test the Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English and Business and General Awareness of a candidate. Candidates will be provided with 2 hours’ time to answer all the questions in the objective-based exam.

This exam is used for admission to vary coveted seats in Shaheed Sukhdev College for Business Studies, arguably India’s number 1 college for Under Graduate Business Studies.

Eligibility Criteria for DU JAT

For qualifying the exam, the student must have to score relevant marks in class 12^th according to the category-

• 60% above for General category
• 55% above for SC, ST, CW and PWD
• 54% above for OBC category.

Some main points to remember:

1. The marks gained by the student in class 12^th should be a aggerate score in four subjects- Math’s, English and 2 other subjects which are mentioned in list B for Elective Subjects of DU UG Admission Information Bulletin.
2. Students who are yet waiting for their class 12^th result can also apply.
3. The merit-based admission eligibility under the EWS category will be similar to UR Category.

Eligibility criteria for international students: Students who want admission under the Foreign Student category shall separately apply on the Foreign Student Registry website which is –  http://fsr.du.ac.in.

Admission Process for DU JAT 2021:

Students who will be short-listed according to their DU JAT score and their class 12^th marks will get into the admission process which will be followed by the verification of documents and seats allotment process.

Full admission process:

1. Fill the application form

To fill the application form firstly register yourself in the site of NTA and them give your basis information like Name, Email ID. Contact info. After you have register yourself login to the site and fill the application form.

Admit card is the most important document that will be needed in the examination center. To download the admit card go to the website, login and download it by entering the form number and DOB.

3. Appear for the DU JAT exam.

4. DU JAT Answer Key:

By the 3^rd week of September, the answer key and question paper is most probability going to be released. In addition, if the university decides to release the revised keys, then it may be disclosing by the 4^th week of September, 2021.

5. DU JAT Result:

The result will be announced in the NTA site itself and students can check the result there. After that the seat allotment process will start based on the marks obtained in the DU JAT and class 12^th. The final merit-list will be prepared based on this.

6. DU JAT Counselling session:

Students will be allotted seats according to their rank and according to their preferences, subjects, etc. After this the verification of the documents will be done by the authorities. Students will be requiring to pay the fee within 24 hours of the acceptance of the admission and save the acknowledgement slip. The fee will be paid through online medium.

GUIDELINES for DU JAT Exam Day:

• Carry the Admit card
• Try to reach the examination center half hour early from the actual exam time.
• Do not carry any electrical devices inside the exam center.
• Take precaution for COVID so, carry you own transparent water bottle and hand sanitizer.
• Wear mark and maintain social distancing.
