The Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH):

The GMCH is the most renowned and one among the best public MBBS colleges in Chandigarh. The College was inaugurated in the year 1991 by the Honorable Prime Minister of then that is the Shri Chandra Shekhar. After it successfully started it got affiliated to the Panjab University . The very first academic guidance session was given by Sh. Baleshwar Rai. The colleges provides various under graduation and post graduation courses. The academics of the college GMCH is great and it ensures high quality of knowledge to the students with an aim to help students to excel in whatever field they go. The colleges has a beautiful campus and it was accredited 29th rank in medical NIRF ranking among different medical colleges in India in the year 2021.

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PIMR):

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research is a college in Chandigarh and got establishment in the year 1962. It is famous for the higher education that is for post graduation courses. The colleges secures 2nd rank in the NIRF ranking 2021. The colleges has beautiful ,large premises and covers large campus area also there are nearly 580 faculty who teach in the college . (SDAC) Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College and Hospital:

Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College and Hospital is a very well known and highly recognized private colleges which provides various courses under Ayurveda. The college was found in the year 1975 and it got affiliated to the University called Shri Krishna Ayush University. This colleges is for all students who want to make their career in Ayurveda and are looking for good colleges providing the opportunity in Ayurved.

Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Chandigarh:

Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital,Chandigarh is a very new college found in year 2006 is especially made for students interested to make their career in dental field . The courses offered are based on Oral Health related problems that is BDS and MDS course. There are almost 18 departments, 9 offering medical laboratories and 9 for dental. The college has about 300 beds for patients and so many labs for chemical, biological and pathological test.

(MTSCP) Mother Teresa Saket College of Physiotherapy:

Established in 1957, present in Haryana, is a private college. Although the colleges provide only 3 courses in 2 domains , that is in Medical and Paramedical. Mother Teresa Saket College Of Physiotherapy does not focus only upon syllabus or academics related stuff rather it is more oriented towards practical and beyond syllabus topics which are helpful for student gaining experiences and also gives practical vision about the course they opted for.

(PU) Panjab University:

It is UGC approved state based university in Chandigarh, Punjab. The university got NAAC grade “A” and offers the students different courses like B.Ed. Special Education (Intellectual Disability),B.Ed. (Yoga),B.Ed. (General). The university is currently accepting admission for the above courses and students can apply here till 7th of August 2022.The admissions are given based on entrance exam scores and it is all merit based.

Panjab University also offers PG Diploma, Executive, Diploma, UG, Integrated, Research Level courses. And students are allotted college either based on entrance exam score or through score in various competitive exam like NEET, GATE, JEE etc.
