The Australian Clinical Entrepreneur Program (ACEP) is a huge program conducted under the supervision of experienced clinical entrepreneurs which is led by The University of Melbourne with partnership of University of Western Australia.
The program is held as a part of The Research Exchange and Development and under the initiative of the industry given by MTPConnect, biotechnologies, pharmaceuticals sector, digital health and Australia’s Growth Centre for the medical technologies , these are supported by the money raised by the Commonwealth Medical Research Future Fund.
The program reach is possible only by the fund collected from Future Health Research and Innovation Fund which allow many people to be a part of several workshops under the guidance of international as well as national mentors.
The Director Biomedical and Health Innovation at UWA ,Professor Kevin Pfleger, said that the programs has made it possible to bring several people together and form a very strong community of exceptional clinical entrepreneurs and also helping them in gaining knowledge and success due to the participation of experienced people and mentor.
The program was launched at QEII Medical Centre in WA, as well as at Melbourne Connect in Victoria and Microsoft’s Australian Headquarters in New South Wales.
People were so satisfied with the program that they thanked the panel chair Dr Tracey Wilkinson , co-panellists Professor Fiona Wood AM, Hon Stephen Dawson MLC for launching the program in WA, Professor Vishaal Kishore and Angela Kelly PSM for a great discussion.
The participants, the mentor and everyone together were so enthusiastic that the room was full of energy. The program was designed in a way to guide the people to make use of their idea and go towards the innovation and come up with good solution to the problem related to health system.

Best thing about Vivek Gupta Sir is his selfless counselling. As I am already a BSC/ MSC, he suggested me to go to Philippines as I was able to get straight admission into MD and this finishes my entire course in 4 years flat. We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult. Thanks to Amit Pandey Sir, who is Gkworks Varanasi incharge, he helped us to do all small things. Going with us to get forex to helping us doing RTGS for fee payment, he was always there with us. He only helped us to apply for passport online and went with us to passport office Varanasi. Such support at ground level was provided by GKworks team both in Varanasi and Delhi.
My parents were not very comfortable to send me abroad especially my mother as I am the only son of my parents. I really wanted to become a doctor and thus approached Hemant Mishra Sir, director of Bareilly branch of GKWorks. He went out of his way to convince my mother.
