AIIMS NEW DELHI THE TOP MEDICAL COLLEGE
AIIMS New Delhi continues to be the undefeated winner of India’s premier medical college this year, according to the National Organization Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022 released by the Federal Minister of Education Dalmendra Pradan. AIIMS not only topped the rankings in the medical category but also achieved rank 9 across the category. This means that it is the 9th best university in India, regardless of the stream.
Also, in the previous year, New Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences ranked first with an overall score of 92.07, followed by Chandigarh’s Graduate School of Medical Education and Velor’s Research and Christian Medical College.
Amidst all the glory, one can’t ignore the cost of being a medical student. The Supreme Court will call the legal points if the preliminary approval form downloaded from the Medical Counseling Commission (MCC) website confirms MBBS approval. In addition, the Apex Court has not submitted a registration form, a review of the original document, and various other commitments and affidavits, but partial paying confirms admission to medical school with the student’s approval. These questions were raised in front of the Supreme Court bench after the MBBS candidate appealed for the withholding of the original document by the medical school that was previously considering admission.
After attending the NEET UG consultation conducted by the MCC, the candidate in question received the location of the assigned/paid allocation at DY Patil ranking 17th position as the top medical college in NIRF RANKING 2022, which is considered a university in Navi Mumbai.
She has never submitted an entry form or other required documents, an affidavit, or a commitment, but has complained that she was only identified as a co-candidate because she paid a partial fee. She claimed she was reported as her co-candidate, even though she informed the college that she could not afford the financial costs.
As she approached the Supreme Court, she claimed that the university refused to publish her original document. She also argued that she had made a huge deposit of 25 lakh, and even if allowed under the provisional allocation, the maximum amount that could be held as a deposit was 2 lakhs.
As a result, she petitioned the court to release/return her money and require the institution to produce her original paperwork.

Best thing about Vivek Gupta Sir is his selfless counselling. As I am already a BSC/ MSC, he suggested me to go to Philippines as I was able to get straight admission into MD and this finishes my entire course in 4 years flat. In any other country, it would have taken by 5.5-6 years. Ms Kanimojhi in Chennai office of GKWorks was equally supportive in coordination regarding documents, departure and all other formalities.
We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult. Thanks to Amit Pandey Sir, who is Gkworks Varanasi incharge, he helped us to do all small things. Going with us to get forex to helping us doing RTGS for fee payment, he was always there with us. He only helped us to apply for passport online and went with us to passport office Varanasi. Such support at ground level was provided by GKworks team both in Varanasi and Delhi.
My parents were not very comfortable to send me abroad especially my mother as I am the only son of my parents. I really wanted to become a doctor and thus approached Hemant Mishra Sir, director of Bareilly branch of GKWorks. He went out of his way to convince my mother. He would have come 5 times to my home, invited us to his office and home 10 times before my mother was finally convinced. It is only due to Hemant Sir in Bareilly that I am pursuing my course today. I wish GKworks and especially Bareilly branch all the very best to help many more students for their life dreams.
