The last date for applying for National Institute of Design is extended till 6th December 2021, 12 pm. The students who are interested can apply without late fees, till this time. The official website of NID provide link for registration for B. Des and M. Des, for the academic year of 2022. 

 

NID 2022 admission – registration process

  1. Official site – www.nid.edu   
  2. Go to Admission 2022-23
  3. Login or Sign up to the account, in the new opening page
  4. Complete the required details and documents
  5. Pay the fees and go to submit
  6. Print the application, and keep a copy for future reference

 

Who can apply?

Bachelor of Design (B. Des)
  • Higher secondary/12th standard – passed or result awaiting (in the year 2021-22)
  • Studied in any stream  (Arts, Commerce, Science, Humanities) can apply for the course
  • Students from any borad of education can apply (CBSE, IB, ICSE and equivalent)
Master of Design
  • Specialization in any one of – Fine Arts/ Design/ Architecture/ Applied Arts –is mandatory
  • Completed any one of –
  1.  4 year graduation in any of the above specialization
  2. Full time diploma (4 year duration) with any of the specialization mentioned
  3. Bachelor Degree of 3 year with any of these specializations

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
