NEET UG counselling 2022: the latest news 

NEET eligibility cum entrance test is one of the most commonly taken exams in India, with over 14 lakh students writing it. Students work hard every year to pass the exam. This year is also the same. with the registration process being cumbersome. 

The counselling process starts right after their NEET 2022 results. 

Latest news regarding Neet 2022 Counselling 

The Medical Counseling Committee, an organisation under the Directorate General of Health Services, posts everything related to counselling on their official site.

The post also released the seat allotment list of the students’ allotted seats in round 2, with students admitted in other streams like BSc, Nursing, and BDS. 

It is also stated that the students allotted seats in round 2 will not be able to be a part of any further counselling rounds for NEET UG 2022. This has become an official statement as the Supreme Court has agreed to it. 

Mop-Up Round of NEET UG 2022 

Who is eligible for the mop-up round? 

A mop-up round is a round that is after round 1 and round 2 candidates who were not able to get seats due to either personal issues or students who have been wait listed. 

When is the mop up round counselling starting? 

Mop up round is going to start from 28th November 2022 to 2nd December 2022, students can register for the counselling for their respective state quota seats. 

The choices filling process for the respective colleges will start from November 29 to December 2, 2022. 

Seat allotment process starts from December 5 to December 6th 2022. with results being announced on December 7th 2022. 

from 8th to 12 th December students can report to the respective allotted colleges. How to register for Mop-up round?

One can register for the mop-up round by first going to the official website of MCC which is mcc.nic.in. then go to the home page click on undergraduate Medical counselling there you can click on registration click on button to register yourself. login to the page enter the necessary details and upload the documents said to be uploaded pay the amount required.

We live 100 Km’s away from Varanasi. The internet connection in our town is very weak and my parents are not that educated. For us, understanding the word RTGS was also very difficult.
